BREAKING THE BANK
Constructed from half a meter thick reinforced steel concrete walls, and doors made from 25cm thick steel, weighing more than a tonne, the old bank vaults are being removed as part of the demolition of the Natwest Tower.
DISAPPEARS FROM SKYLINE
The NatWest Tower can no longer be seen from Broad St: only the site’s tower crane is visible. The NatWest Tower has shrunk to 15 storeys. and is being erased from the city centre vista.
